Front license plate

Drove a C6 for quite sometime without one. $100 fine later i did put it on. Now when I pass by a patrol car I don't have to look if they turn around for me.

I live in a two plate state. For the past 25 years or so ive not ran one on my daily driver cars or weekend cars. Ive only been bothered 2-3 times. I always tell them it was in accident, the bracket is on order. Also I never let them put the brackets on my car when I buy them, or let them drill into the front bumper if its that type. Front plates can piss off.

I just got my plates in on Friday and have been debating all weekend on putting the front on or not, then yesterday out of curiosity during my commute I kept my eye on the front plates of oncoming traffic. It blew me away how many people didn't have them so it made my decision a little easier. Keep an eye out, cops are probably less inclined to write a ticket if 10-15% of the cars on the road don't have them. At least that's how I am going to justify it to my wife when I get a ticket...

I haven't put a front plate on my vehicles in many years, until now. I moved to a new city and a traffic cop pulled me over for speeding and no front plate. Let me off with a warning but said it won't happen again. Not worth the hassle so I have a Sto 'N Sho bracket now.

The only bad thing is that license plate readers are already a proven technology and the move to equip Law enforcement is in full swing nationwide. There's federal impetus and funding. It's only a matter of time before all states require them and the penalties become more expensive and harsher. It's for the children after all.

I only made it six days before getting a ticket. Been stopped at the quantico gate a few times with one ticket there.

damn. i go on Camp pendleton all the time. no base tags or front plate. loud ass exhaust. only get thumbs up from gate guards.

From my experience it's a crap shoot. I went for probably about 8 months on my current car w/ no front plate, then finally got dinged for it. I see quite a few sports cars running no front plate all the time.

I'll be doing a Sto N Sho bracket when I order my GT, I think.

Fronts are required here however I drove several cars for several years and didn't put them on and never had copper trouble even getting pulled over for speeding tickets.

I've also had illegal tint here for almost 20 years strait and the same... never had a problem, even when pulled over for speeding.

Yea, i got on Pendleton for 3.5 years without an issue. Nazis at the gate in quantico; contractors don't care, it's all been jarheads.

Went no front plate for a while without any issues until I got tired of leaving it on my dash every time I parked on the street, because meter maids can ticket you for that.
