Front license bracket came attached

So I just got word from my dad who is my sales man, car came off the truck with the front license bracket already attached? I thought it would be in the trunk. Very disappointed, I guess I'll get used to it though.

My salesman(My father) was out sick today, hence why he wasn't there when the car arrived and hasn't seen the car in person yet. Him and I were getting quite mad about my request being ignored regarding the front license plate bracket and about the apparent lie he was told regarding it having come that way. He has now told me that make ready and the other salesmen there were messing with him by telling them it had come with the front license plate bracket, not realizing that he would pass this information on to me the customer. He says they have come clean and the car in fact doesn't have a front license plate bracket installed. I am relieved and happy to pick it up in the morning. Needless to say, him and I are going to have a talk with the "jokers" that came up with this prank.

My salesman told me he couldn't remove it from the order.

It is definitely possible. I've seen window stickers of other cars and it is included. Mine isn't even listed on my window sticker. Not sure how he did it. We don't need them in PA and he knows us Mustang guys don't want them.

all the mustangs I have purchased come with the bracket loose in the trunk. My dealer told me that the make ready dept. installs them. It did not get installed at the factory

It was a custom order, came directly from the Factory. My salesman(my father) has pictures they sent him with it still wrapped in transit wrap, with the license plate bracket under the wrap, I'm picking the car up in the morning. I trust my dad when he tells me what he is told, I suspect someone fucked up and is lying about it.

My salesman advised me to pay the fine for no license plate. He didn't want me to put holes in the bumper.
