Front distance sensors.

I drive a lot of different cars and the stang is up there with a disappearing front bonnet. Why doesn't the car come with front distance sensors to match the brilliant rear sensors and camera.

Did the USA cousins get them and if so, can we retrofit them?

I bought the Parking Dynamics system (www.parkingdynamics.co.uk) - it fits behind the bumper and "sees through it". I mistakenly ordered a rear one, so I am no closer to fitting it. When I get my lower grille and Blingworks LED lights, I'll fit the front one and give members here an opinion. Maybe a month away. Its pretty cheap at about $135 delivered - somewhere around there. Worth a try.

You can build one yourself (or get your friend programmer to do it for you) using a couple of ultrasonic sensors ($1 on ebay) and an arduino or similar microcontroller.
