My S550 hasn't arrived yet, so I cannot confirm, but if it is the same setup as my s197, it's just what Sprintamx suggested (floor mat fastener): Check the bottom left and right corners of your front driver and passenger side floor mats. On the S197 a similar setup exists on the front corners of the mats to clip them into the receptors attached to the floor under each side of the mat.

But I know what it is. Look where your carpet ends just under the gas pedal. There is a threaded stud that is there and that piece goest through a hole in the carpet to keep it held in place.

Although if the butt plug fits, wear it :lol:

All Base, Tech and Track GT 350's come with 1 butt plug. The GT 350R comes with 2 Butt plugs (red of course). Usually they arrive in your owners supplement. Looks like you are lucky and a loose Butt plug ended up in your car. They are essentially for drivers new to the flat plane crank. Its to keep you from loosing your shit the first time you get to 8250 RPM. And yes it goes where you think.

There are two of those used to hold the trunk carpet to the chassis. They're only visible with the rear seat, or the rear seat delete removed. I suspect they're probably used elsewhere on the interior too.

Yes, that's where it was from. Thanks. The stud isn't lined up with the hole in the carpet very well which makes me wonder if it was just resting in the carpet or if it was actually engaged on the stud...
