I didn't see a specific forum for Forscan, so I figured I would ask here.

On my 2021 GT, with the 401a dash, on the left side inside the tach where it is configurable to display the gear the vehicle is in (Manual GT).
My wife has a 21 EB HP, and she really liked that about the GT but I cannot find in the settings where to change it, and it doesn't appear to be enabled on the EB, its either a tach read out or blank.

Anyone know how to enable this via Forscan?

So where is the "SENSOR" located that tells the computer which gear a manual GT transmission is in ?? Is it part of the shifter or in the trans ?? Maybe the ecoboost manual (which is slightly different than the GT version) does not have this special sensor.

It's in the trans. I guess an easy way to check would be to see if the EB has rev matching, as that relies on the same sensor.

Per the order guide, "rev matching" is GT only.

I've got a 2021 101A Ecoboost 6-Spd ... so I don't have the 201A/401A digital cluster, so I could not activate this even if EB's did have rev matching.

A 201A 6-speed owner needs to crawl under their car and try and find a sensor on the trans that is not the reverse light switch.

Ah gotcha.

But you don't need the digital cluster to enable rev match (on the GT) it's under track apps on the base/analog cluster.

Yep ... Order Guide states Rev Matching is standard on all GT's so that makes sense. But do need the digital cluster on GT to display the gear.

That's the issue, the EB doesn't have Rev matching so, I would assume the sensor isn't there
