Hi there.

Wondering if it’s possible to change the redline rpm when my tach glows red.

Right now, my tach lights up at stock redline but I shift 7400 or so so it’s bright red for bit. Any way to raise it?

thanks

There is not. Best bet since you have my color with the 401a package is to make your gauges red and then you’ll never see it change red......because it’s already red.

If you have a 15-17, couldn’t you change the ipc to the “18+” range? I’m just spit balling idk if that would make a difference or what year car you have.

I wonder if that would work. I have a 2016. What rpm does the light come on for the 18+?

Anyone have the codes?

The 18+ has a 7400rpm redline.

That would be perfect if the light flashed red at 7400!

Anyone have the code or know what the line code is for the 18+?

I can compare to my 16 and give it a try when the cover comes off.

Thanks!

Pretty sure the forscan code for 7400rpm didn't exist before 18. For 15-17 the V6, EcoBoost, and GT all had a 6500rpm redline. Luckily you van get an 18+ cluster cheap to convert to the 7400rpm redline.
