Thank you so much for your review . It sounds like this may be the "one " once the whipple is installed.
You may not be so inclined but have you made any 1/4 miles passes ?
Nothing official but from a 30-40 roll it easily pulls ahead of my friends 10.30ish 2003 Cobra, and rolled ahead of a Demon after 50mph. My guess would be that it’s a solid mid 10 sec car with 9 second power.

How did you change the mounts? What did you use as a lift / support point as the pan is composite.
personally I would probably buy the BMR mounts that both lower and stiffen.

The kit comes with BMR motor mounts

I supported the engine by the transmission.

no problem.

These videos were from the TX2k18 event a few weeks ago.

I entered the car into the RollRace Nationals just for fun. 800ish RWHP is not enough to play in that crowd lol. The car averaged 149ish mph

Then took it over to a shop sponsored TX2k dyno night, not bad for dyno'ing after a 1.5 hour heat soaking cruise and nasty humid air

My cars mods are a Whipple Gen3 kit @8-9psi, whipple tune, MS109 Fuel, Kooks Headers w/ green cats, custom double x-pipe and Magnaflow Catback.
I just bought a 2017 GT350 with about 6,000 miles on it. I want to supercharge it but want to make sure the car can handle it and will still be reliable. It will be mostly a street car.

How many miles do you have on your car now since you put on the Whipple? Any problems so far? I am looking at having Steeda do the work.

Here is my ride.

I was at the dealer today an inquired about a Whipple install. Told me that if they install... they will honor the factory warranty. Did say that another dealer may give me issues with the warranty. Anyone have experience with this?

12,200 miles for me right now, so roughly 10,000 supercharged miles and no mechanical issues whatsoever. I think the only upcoming maintenance worry is the cars clutch. Its feeling like it needs an upgrade before it gets sticky tires.

What other mods did you do with the Whipple? Internals? Etc?

Nothing actually; the engine has never been cracked open, internals are factory stock. All it has parts wise is the Whipple kit, kooks LTs, meth injection, and the magnaflow catback. This years mods are the Clutch, Toyo R888R's, Tuning for MS109 and a 3.125 pulley

Great to hear that. I'm putting on a whipple next month, but will also do OPG and CS. Will be doing a bunch of suspension work as well.

Did you mean 3.75 pulley ?
Not making only 8-9 psi with a 3.125 pulley .
Do you have a whipple tune or aftermarket since you say it’s “tuned” for MS109?

Currently 3.75, currently Whipple tuned.

Re-read, its says this years mods. I own but have not installed the 3.125 pulley, and plan on having it custom tuned for the extra boost and MS109

So an additional 5 psi ?
Are you going to upgrade injectors ?

I have plans to drop down to a 3.625 pulley with the whipple tune .They are supposed to releasing an update per Dustin anytime now with fixes for the previous tune and which will allow you to take advantage of higher octane , so may want to hold off for a bit .

No plans for E85 ?
Lund says on “low boost “ a dual BAP and ID1300’s should be fine .

I did not know anything about the update, thanks for the info. Ill take Whipple support and reliability any day of the week. In all honesty the car will benefit more from tires and a clutch than any additional power at this point.

I love E85 but I'm on the fence for this car, mainly for reasons that my local stations are never consistent with blends and typically are selling e60-e70. I used to buy drums of it for a past boosted vehicle but the storage and delivery charges got of hand for residential addresses.
