Hello,

I ordered a set of Forgestar CF5 wheels for my 2020 GT. Don’t have them yet and haven’t been able to find a picture of the backs of these wheels to see if they have the necessary recessed areas between the lugs to accommodate the spacer lugs. Anybody out there with these particular wheels using spacers? BTW, these are 25mm spacers I got from CJ Pony. Thanks

I don't have any experience with Forgestars, but can't you get them with offsets that make spacers unnecessary? Spacers are for stock wheels.

Thanks guys, at the time I bought the spacers I was going to keep the factory wheels, until I saw the Forgestar’s. Much better look in my opinion. The folks at CJ Pony say their spacers will work fine with some aftermarket wheels but not all. Just depends on the wheel having the recessed areas between the lugs to allow it to fit over the spacer bolts. Not sure at the moment what the offset is on these Forgestar’s, who knows I may not even need spacers. Thanks

Relax, I'm well aware there are legit uses for slip on spacers in aftermarket applications with various goals. I was referring to the common use of 20-25mm non slip on spacers to push stock wheels outward for purely cosmetic reasons. OP seems to have confirmed that's what he bought them for.

Relax? I’m so Chill I had to put my jacket on lol. Look guys I’m brand new to the Mustang game, and even newer to playing around with custom wheels. Not pretending to know anything about anything because I don’t, but I am having fun learning! Hopefully I’ll throw these wheels on and they’ll sit nice and flush with the fender wells and I can toss the spacers in the trash!
