First off I want to thank Deysha, because she actually continued to provide help to get me to a CSM that actually responded. I have been contacted now for the 5th time but this time I finally connected and was able to speak about my concerns regarding all the issues I've had as well as the cooled seats. She apologized and explained why there was such a disconnect from the other CSM's and together we came up with a solution to preserve my confidence with the car as well as retain my loyalty to ford.

She has told me that ford is well aware of the cooled seat issue and they have been working on it since the start of these concerns. She also mentioned that the revision to the seats may release as early as this month of September. Good news to me.

Again thank you Deysha, and for all the other members, the fix is on the way.

Hopefully. I won't be ordering until I see a resolution

This is definitely good news but I am skeptical as well. I just wonder what kind of "fix" they are talking about. Will this be a TSB? A recall of some sort? Will this require the seats to be replaced or just torn apart for the cooling equipment inside to be replaced?

Guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm definitely glad they are looking into this though. I think they definitely owe all of us 2015 Premium buyers a working cooling seat and now that 2016's are hitting dealerships (I assume with the same problems) they'll be wanting fix's too. That's a lot of seats to fix!!

It won't be a recall I can pretty much guarantee that. Ford won't cough up all that money for a mass recall. So more than likely publish a TSB this way it will only be covered if under 3/36 warranty for the people who actually come in and complain about it. This way they save money on the people who aren't bothered by it enough to come and complain and once out of 3/36 you will have pay if you want the fix.

Well if it were up to me (which obviously it is not), I would say that the 3/36 should start the second they release the fix, not from the time of vehicle purchase.

I've definitely experienced the same issues as others but have not complained about it to my dealer. I've been following the threads on here and obviously after countless people took their cars to the dealer, there was no fix so what's the point of me having my seats poked and prodded too? Once they do release a fix, I'll make sure to bring it up to the dealer. Until then, I'll wait it out. As the weather starts cooling down it's obviously not as big of an issue (the heated portion works great!) so as long as they get it fixed by next spring, I'll be happy.

I know I'm quick to jump the gun and post, but I was delighted to hear someone and speak to someone that seemed to care about my experience especially with the communication disconnect with ford service. As I did before, I will be following up with you guys as well to let you know if the resolution for me has be upheld as well as them getting the fix going for the seats.
