[MENTION=22732]S7N[/MENTION] how long have you had the latest and greatest update? I will say that on a warm day 90+ my boost went to 24.7 leak and then held steady at 20+. I'm in an auto and that flat spot is gone through all gears now.

[MENTION=25032]ForYourOwnGood[/MENTION]- I had the software and tune done at MY dealership on 3/14/17. It was version 1.92. There is indeed an updated version (1.992) as of 3/21/17. I saw it online, called the tech line to confirm, then updated the procal software. When I did that I noticed an update on the calibration tab. 30 mildly scary minutes later the car was running better than it ever had.
Plug your dongle into the OBD2 port or whateve the helll they call it and open Procal3 on your PC. Lemme know what you come out with as far as a tune an how it works out.

Yeah for sure, I'll hook it up in the morning when I get home from work. I don't know if I want to flash it as I don't have a battery charger, but I think I could get one pretty cheap at autozone or walmart.

I'm here to tell ya. Don't even attempt it without a good battery charger. I used an el cheapo when I started and it wouldn't keep up. Luckiky I had a trusty standby ready. I then had to do the update 3 times bc of voltage issues (it can't handle only 12v) . It scared the shit out of me thinking I had just ruined my car when it faulted out.

Maybe I'll just hook the jumper cables up from the beater :lol:

Same here. Even the Battery Tender wasn't good enough, I had to hook mine up to the battery charger for the install.

That's weird how some people talk about the flat spot at 4k, mine wasn't near that bad. Not noticeable at all in 1-2. I could feel it in 3rd at little but it really wasn't as terrible as it's reported for some. I had pull all the way to 6k, I could just feel a little decrease after 4k. I'm really looking forward to upgrading the tune this weekend.

Same here. Even the Battery Tender wasn't good enough, I had to hook mine up to the battery charger for the install.

I never used a charger and everything installed without a hitch :shrug:

Mine wouldn't even start the install, saying the battery was too low. I've never had a problem with my car starting and it's driven daily so it hadn't set for any time. Maybe my battery is weak though.

Wow.. Mine read 12 volts whole time but I turned off radio and headlights before starting. I'd definitely go get your battery checked.

Getting mine installed at the dealer here soon. Do i need to bring my own laptop? I would like to have the software downloaded to my laptop for future use. Thanks.

You don't need to but from what I've seen on here most do take a personal laptop with them for ford to use this way you'll have the files and can read and clear codes if need be.

Talk to the dealer service rep and he should tell you. Mine told me to bring my own so I can log in a tune it back to stock anytime I want. I went there and flashed it myself and they just printed out a service ticket so I can submit for warranty.

Just saw the posts about the updated tune. Another benefit of having the tune on your own laptop. Mine was done end of February so I'll check. I need to get around to asking them if they plan a update for other bolt ons like intercooler.

The Cobb OTC tunes don't even tune the transmission like FP so no point doing that.
