Yes that's me.

Everything else was stock on the eb, including the intercooler. What is also impressive was the 5.0 that was tested with only drag radials and a tune went 12.0's

This is why I'm really hoping Ford comes out with an AWD Focus RS with the 2.3l Ecoboost. It would seriously do some damage to the STI and Golf R all with a warranty.

Oh boy, oh boy!!

That Ecoboost is bad ass but I loving that statement above on the 5.0....That is hauling the mail for a tune and DR's in a 3700-3800LB car...

Can you share the MPH that is was running in that 12.0x run?

Welcome aboard!!! Keep any tidbits of info you can flowing for us:ford:

It would be awesome if you could post a link and/or quotes as C5 is blocked here at work.

The 12.0 with tune/DR is nice but was also easily done with the '11-14 GTs so I'm not crazy impressed with that. However, given the many improvements to the car in other areas to still be capable of the '11-14 drag racing performance is promising.

He's saying a 5.0 went 12.0X with just DR's and a tune.

An IRS 12.5 second car that lifts the wheels like that.

Why wait? Is going fast down a drag strip going to deter people from buying this car? :headbonk:

I'm in enough hot water now, you will have to wait until the info is publish on trap speeds, it will be soon. I can assure everyone that the EcoBoost had the irs in while testing.

Thanks for providing what you can. Wish Ford's marketing arm could work faster so you don't take the heat.
