They've been talking about warranty backed performance tunes since the beginning of last year when they first mentioned one coming for the Ecoboost. However, since then not a single Ford Australia rep has managed to give me any answer on what's happening and I've already asked several, including the Ford AU Facebook staff. No one seems to know anything which is par for the course with Ford Australia, so no surprises there. :headbonk:

The three stages of Ford Performance mods have been available in New Zealand for months! I phoned Ford Au head office and they knew nothing about it. My local dealer showed me Ford Au internal emails stating end 2016 availability..here's hoping!
Stage 2 package looks good to me!

I think you will find that is Team Hutchinson Ford in New Zealand who are putting together tuning packages.

We are selling our Borla Exhausts and Vogtland Lowering Springs to a number of Ford Dealers here in Australia who are starting to offer similar packages.

Little update guys, I wouldn't be holding your breath to see what Ford Aus bring out as it's pretty much not going to happen. That said have you seen Tickford is back and will be releasing Mustang stuff end of the year with warranty.

That's probably the closest thing you'll get to Ford

Edit: ive actually seen some posts about ford aus tunes now, i believe herrod is working on these though so not sure how warranty will work

More than likely, Ford haven't given me a definitive answer yet. No tune for me for a while anyway I think. Just picked up an XY GT so goodbye money for mustang mods.

Liber Have you heard anything back?

People said the same thing about the mountune kits for the Focus/Fiesta ST yet they are available at the dealer with factory warranty.

Yeah mate, typical standard response though... They've got no idea and aren't telling me anything, I asked again at start of December. Once I work out how to post photos I'll show their response. I think I might just call next week.

The lack of interest in these cars from Ford Australia is just unbelievable. Apathetic doesn't even go close to describing them.
Compare our options here to what's available in the US and you quickly realise how much money the dealers are letting slip through their fingers because of them.
Must be frustrating for the dealers.
Still can't get something as basic as a rear floor mat from Ford Aus. JTFC! :frusty:

Is this one you were promised would be fitted at first service as it wasn't in stock? I've heard that with every new car I've ever purchased. I remind them about it once then I just lodge a complaint with fair trading and it magically appears.

The disclaimer on the brochure means Ford could almost deliver a Focus instead of a Mustang and you'd have no grounds for comeback.
I don't recall the exact wording but it was pretty damn broad.

Yeah I had the same sort of thing on my Pajero. Specs are likely to change blah blah blah. Arrived without a listed feature (auto head lights and wipers which I didn't want anyway). Long story short, got $500 back and a couple of other accessories. Probably could've got more but that was without going to tribunal or taking it a lot further and getting a solicitor involved.
