Ford Performance released its PP2 replica wheels

I bought these over the summer from a local dealership. They are the Ford Performance PP2 wheels made to fit PP1. They are 9.5” front and 10“ rear. I reused the OEM Michelin tires and they fit great and look perfect.

Do you have more photos to show the offset figment etc

I ordered the Ford Performance pp2 replica wheels on Sept 6 and finally got them on Nov 13. I was surprised they were back ordered , but they were well worth the wait. I would like to get all season tires in the same size as the production Ecoboost 2.3 liter Hi performance tire , but hear there is a poor selection . I don't want an all Winter tire because I am afraid they may make more noise . I must say the Ford Performance replica pp2 wheels sure look nice. I would not be surprised to see the PP2 wheel become as popular for the Mustang as the Cragar S/S wheel was in the past.

Finally got them on today. Also added Steeda Camber plates. 305/30 front, 325/30 rear.
Taking it for an allignment tomorrow. Very happy with the way they look.

Do you have enough clearance up front for another 1/2" lowering? I'm looking into the Ford Performance Track Suspension kit, 1" lowering springs, struts, bars, FP adjustable strut mounts, PP2 wheels, 305s square or maybe your setup

Hi Jake, I'm currently on Steeda min drop(1/2")and I think car has settled a little more since this pic. Going to wash it this morning and take some new pictures.
You should be able to lower it more but will need a little more negative camber than me to avoid fender rubbing.
There's people running bmr handling springs (3/4")reporting no rubbing. Frpp track lower it 7/8" iirc so not much of a difference.

How much do the actual PP2 wheels I have weigh vs the 30+ lbs of the FP and 20+ lbs of the LMR? I really like the look of the OEM PP2 wheels on my 2019, but Im not against shedding weight either.

Does anyone know if the offset is the same for both front and rear wheels for the the 18-20 pp2 wheels? I know the fronts are 19x10.5 and rears are 19x11. Trying to order a replacement wheel to use as a spare, but not sure if i need to order the front or rear wheel. In other words, will the front wheel work in the rear position and will the resr wheel work in the front position, depending on which tire goes flat? Was thinking to order the front since 1/2” narrower. Anyone know?

re spare. Something for consideration: a full size 19” rim in the trunk will push up the trunk liner way up and also add much weight to the rear affecting handling.

I recently did this: find a 19” spare tire from a Hyundai Equus ($100 CAD), and have a machine shop bore out the centre to match the car ($60). Bring your factory wheel to them or measure it (70.5 mm). Then purchase flat washer and lug nuts ($60). For $200 CDN I have a spare that clears the PP1 brembo brakes front or rear.Search my posts I made one about it.

another idea for consideration. Much lower weight, load rating appropriate for the car, trunk liner pokes up half inch. About 20 lbs added with quality jack.

Friends, I am considering 19x10 35 all around with 285/35/19. I am a PP1 car.

I am considering camber plates. Has anybody had any issues with more negative camber on this setup?

What if I lower and add negative camber on this 19x10 with 285/35?

Aren't these like 32-33lbs each? Is there any reason to buy these and pay 500-600 more for wheels that weigh about 10lbs more each over the LMR reps?

Yes, there is a reason to purchase the Ford Performance over the LMR SVE's. the LMR/SVE fronts are 10", which requires you to drop to a 275 front tire rather than a 305 front tire that the 10.5" FP wheel accommodates. To me, thats a big deal for track use. The Apex is the same, Much lighter, great wheel but only a 10" for the front. Kind of defeats the PP2 factory set up

IIRC, some run the SVE in 19x11 all around. Tight fit but can be done. Seems worth figuring out with a weight savings of around 10lbs per wheel and, in all likelihood, the flow formed SVE is probably stronger in addition to the lower cost.

Running 11” up front requires spacers and max camber, not a “user friendly set up.
I’d consider running 295/30 Toyo proxy’s on the front and NT01’s on the rear with Apex 10/11 or SVE 10/11.
not sure what the thought is mix-N-match tire brands?

other wise running 10” up front limits your tire selection to cup 2’s 275/35+ 305/30
That’s a big trade off on front width and the cups don’t last all that long.
Other option is + 40 lbs with the FP 10.5/11” and 305 Nitto’s all round.
Not sure what I prefer. Be interested what other seasoned trackers would choose.
