I'm going to be getting my FP Mageneride handling kit put on next month, would there be any problem if I flash the magneride tune before hand instead of waiting and get that part finished? I don't see why there would be, but just wanted other opinion.

I have magneride. It's part of the FP handling kit for magneride cars.

Essentially the flash is just putting the car to PP2/GT350 calibrations. The springs and bars with that kit are upgrades for both the PP2/350. The only thing I could see is the car may feel a bit off as it will be set for different spring rates and the stiffer bars compared to stock. Personally I would just wait till after it's done.

Let us know if the package is worth it as I've been waiting to see if it's worth the price.

Will do. My alternative was just swapping GT350 springs and bars.

Is the flash a one time use thing, or can it be used multiple times on different cars? I really wish Ford would sell it separately from the springs and sways

^^This^^

I really want this to be something that can be tuned with FORScan or some other tuner.

I wonder how sensitive MR is to spring rates? I can see how it's going to be expecting to react a certain way to velocity changes in the suspension, but it's also going to be sensing the results of its own changes and adjusting again.

@Schwerin, If it's not going to be too long before you get the springs/sways installed, it would be interesting to hear how the car behaved with tuned MR over stock springs.

Well Ford's paper in underlined letter say "Prior to installing the part hardware on your vehicle you must follow steps below" So I guess they want you to flash the firmware first, but the install directions on FPP.com say do do it last.

I mean you can run the upgraded bars and springs without the firmware, doing it prior should not mess the car up in anyway. Personally I wouldn't do it until the day of the install but I am truly curious if the tune makes a difference and this kit is worth the price tag over just going with BMR magneride springs and GT350/R bars. (even tho this pack's bars are even larger)
