Not sure about Ford Performance Struts, but new brackets are being given to some people who have issues with their Redline Struts.

I received my free pair of Redline brackets the other day and because they are not as wide as the originals and have slotted instead of round holes for the hood hinge bolt stubs it makes it much easier to maintain or correct the hood for alignment after install.

Redline was great about responding and sending out new brackets the next day. Would definitely buy from them again.

Apparently the ford's hood bracket is to small or weak compared to others like redline but i red somewhere that new revised brackets were coming for the ford struts. So maybe the newer ones being sold now hold up?

How are your ford struts holding up..? Do they function well when openning & closing how are the brackets?
