Ford Pass App Warning Messages

So I took my 19 into the shop today for a few issues. The main one is the knocking noise on the cold start. I also needed them to look at my steering because it makes a clicking noise when doing tight turns at low speed (parking lots for example). Also because the line lock and launch control say "not available; consult manual"

However when standing there waiting for the advisor I happened to pull up my Ford Pass app and saw two warning messages.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp - Regulatory
The engine system has detected a misfire fault

Charge System Fault
The charging system has detected a fault

I drove the car this weekend and i received no warning lights while driving so I found it odd that they're showing on the app and the car itself never alerted me.

At no point did the car feel like it was misfiring.

Has anyone else gotten these messages?

Yes, misfire. Cleared the code and have not seen it again. BTW, not all codes will throw a MIL...

i had that once on my ecoboost, assumed it an app issue..

Got the same messages with my Bullitt. I think it is when you turn on Aux power. the app sees that the engine is not firing or charging. Basically an app issue. On a manual tranny car, the app is basically useless. Obviously no auto start (understandable), but you cannot lock your car doors remotely!! The only thing it does is tell you the fuel level when not in car, not sure the point of that?.....

Yep, confirmed this 3 times.
I got it a bunch of different times when I was in AUX and configuring MyColor and other settings.

Got the codes via app, but never an indicator on the car itself.

Oh damn...that makes total sense!

I posted a thread on Friday asking how to use my accessory power without the car on and then on Saturday I had the radio on while I was cleaning it.

I do like the app because it also shows where the car is. Like now I can see if it leaves the dealership while they're working on it
