Ford Mustang: Australian supply improves with 2000 extra units, SYNC 3 infotainm

Hey guys

I ordered my car on 30th June 2015 and

just got my Vin today from Ford Australia

Vin is also showing on Etis and I managed to get a window sticker. See attached.

From what I can see the Blend date which I assume is the Build date is 8th April which is 4 days after my Segmentation Date which sounds about right.

It also seems that my car will have Sync 3 which I did not expect.

Ford Australia today, as well as my Vin, told me the following timing estimates after the Segmentation date :

1 day to prepare car for build
2 days for build
14 days for rail from Flat Rock to Baltimore (!) I can walk faster.....
20 days for Pre shipping QA
35 days shipping time
5 days to clear customs
10 days in Destination city pre- delivery
2 days to get to the dealer

Total 89 days which give an ETA Dealer of

My dealer yesterday gave me an ETA of 25th June whereas Ford Australia today gave me an ETA of 2nd July which is indeed 89 days from Segmentation Date,so hopefully might arrive sooner.
It least I can now see the beginning of the tunnel

Your car isn't going to have sync 3, it says that on everyone's window sticker

That's great news. Unfortunately SYNC 3 will only be available on MY17 models starting production June 2nd. This has been confirmed by Ford Australia today. Apparently all recent window stickers show SYNC3 but is not the case.

Thats awesome news regarding sync 3 for my17!! Unfortunately I got some bad and good news regarding my order today.
lol while everyone is getting their order faster or earlier than expected.
Mine just got delayed a little more, it was meant to be built this month (april). As its an employee order, unfortunately there is only a few allocated cars per month coming in for Ford Employees & my order has been pushed to June so that full retail paying customers get their stangs without any delays, which I think is fair enough!!
Although this time it worked out for the better - I get sync 3 now But now I have to wait another 2 months :(

Got the NSC and contacted Ford, scheduled for build in September so it looks like guard is out. :(

as a matter of interest who and how do you contact Ford to get the status of you car using NSC.

What other information is available to check cars?
