After looking at it on something other than my cellphone it's a video game. I hope it's Forza! Microsoft gave me a free copy as compensation for my defective Xbox one.

If it's a video game that's just plain disappointing. Not exciting mustang news at all. :(

On Facebook they posted "We've got some exciting news about the new ‪#‎Mustang‬ to tell you. But you'll have to drop by tomorrow to find out what it is. Hint: you might get to drive it, but you'll have to drive very, very fast."

With the same picture.

It's definitely a 2015 hood, unfortunately the background looks like a video game. I'm guessing Forza 5 or GT6.
I would love to drive it in Forza!!! Unfortunately the water on the car rules out Forza because they have yet to put any weather effects into the game. Though does GT6 have beads of water on the car like that?

Also I sort of doubt that it will be either of those sim games as they display horsepower and weight. That would be a weird way to reveal that information. My money is on some action racer or maybe even a goofy in browser game on the ford website.

GT definitely HAD weather effects back in earlier versions. I'm not buying a PS4(or XB1 for F5) to find out though.

The GT series has been known to have prototypes and concepts before they are released in real life. They just blank out the specs. They had the C7 in GT5.

That is a good point. Well my money is definitely on GT6 then. Though if the car doesn't have real stats then I sort of wonder what the point of driving it in a sim game is except to admire the way it looks. That is as good a reason as any I suppose.

If it is GT6, I'm surprised that the game developers allowed that. Considering they take so much pride in how realistic it is, it would be hard to make it realistic with no official numbers being released on performance. I don't think Ford has even finalized the numbers themselves. So it won't really be a simulation S550, it'll probably be a improved S197 in the game with a S550 skin.

If it is forza or nfs dlc, wouldn't they reveal some specs in the games like hp and weight?

Well that settles it. Put it in Need for Speed and you don't need specs at all, lol. That is sort of a bummer. I can't wait to race it in Forza. Plus it will be fun to look around it in all its detail using the "Forzavista" thing. It will also be a fun and relatively easy tool to do different paint jobs. Here's to hoping Turn 10 will add it in eventually.

I am really disappointed with the physics in Forza. You have to basically slow down to a crawl to avoid sliding completely off the track when you turn. A real performance car can corner much better than the cars in that game.
