Man, I need more popcorn. lol. I almost made the mistake in buying an out of warranty E60 M5 with a DCT. I then decided to research all the stuff about these cars and found out about the red cog of death and having to replace conrod bearings on those engines. I said nooope.

Either way I would get a GT350 and the BMW dealership can keep their M2. Looks damn good though!

Oh, I also have a co-worker who had a E60 M5 for a few months and just recently seen him pull into where he works in an ISF...guess he wised up.

You regret getting your '15 Mustang?
Hegs NO times 1,000! I had a 5.0 5 speed back in the day when they were all the rage man...had a fam got an Exp. traded that for the Bimmer a couple years back. There's one BMW that made me go hmmmm before I acquired my 'Stang. The E92 M3 - bad biotch but the aftermarket parts for that thing is CRAZY $$$$$$$$$$

It was offered in a DCT, I ordered it with a 6M. These 135is's are rarer than a 1M, & cost more too. But the last of the hydraulic steering.
I went to the HRE Open -House back in May...there were 2-3 1Ms on the property. :hail:

So true...ARH just came out with headers for the E92 M3 with cats and its almost $4k while for the Mustang it is almost half the amount. For what amounts to at best is 11-15rwhp in normally aspirated form as the headers on the E92 M3 are pretty darn good to begin with.

However, you can run a set of test pipes and a tune running a total of $1400 and it nets out about 25-35rwhp.

That being said I would take a GT350 over the M2, unless the economics just don't make any sense.

Dave I'm sure the M2 will be a solid performer on the streets but AGAIN the aftermarket prices will be astronomical. Can't afford the GT350 but if $ didn't play a part I would still opt for the 350. That my friend is a gearhead's modern-day dream car.

Well with the likes of Cobb and such the FI parts won't be as bad as they are for the E9X with the S65 car. Unless you want to get a Dinan CAI for $2k...

That being said I would take a GT350 as well over a M2. To be frank I am going to have a tough time coming out of my E92 M3..still so much in love with this car.

Your E92 M3 is beautiful! I would keep it. Last of the high revving V8's.

Here is a little video of the M2 somewhat without camouflage.

I agree. I would also have a very hard time giving one of those up. Ranks right up with the S2000 as pratically an instant classic. I just don't see cars like that returning anytime soon, although I guess the GT350 is about as close as it gets to the E9X.

Thanks for the kind words Todd...:D

Dave
You bet buddy! As you know, my final 2 choices were a CPO 2013 E92 M3 with about 2k miles or my GTPP. My diehard Ford allegiance won over. I will end up having one of these cars at some point. They are just magical and my favorite foreign car. I tried to talk my wife into buying one for her car but she wanted a SUV, so she got a 2013 QX56. A 32v, 400hp V8 but with 22's and much heavier....lol. I tried. She saw what I was trying to do:D

They are right, lawyer don't like to row their own gears in their M5s...
They're too busy chasing ambulances and finger banging the secretary, side girl or divorcee to row gears
