I know that the majority of buyers want a manual, but I wish they could have offered an automatic as an option. I would have been all over this.

Same. I don't know how to drive a manual, so a car like this would be out for me, but if it came with a DCT I might pool up with some of my gearhead friends and buy one for rallying.

I will sell my ecoboost if it's in the 35k range well equipped, decent weight etc.

One thing that sucks is that this is not wide body like the last RS

I too would have liked some wheel flares but the designer said they wanted the research and resources to go into the AWD system which I can get behind.

Shouldn't be hard to get this to 400 hp I'd imagine. The ST is 3200-3300lbs I think so maybe 3,400-3,500, hopefully less. The AWD documentation said light-weight AWD.

Guess we won't know anymore until Geneva.

WOW awesome.....I think I'm still getting a 16' EcoBoost, but damnnnn now I have to think twice before rushing out to buy !!! This guy is claiming that this all new AWD RS will put out close to 350HP from the same Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost !!!!

A base eb pp with recaros is 30k otd

10k difference is a lot and what are you really getting. Awd is the biggest thing and then it's all subjective as far as 2-4 door, hatch vs coup etc

Yeah, it's a bummer that these "niche" cars always seem to come manual only. I assume that they think they won't have enough sales of automatics to compensate the R&D needed to make the transmission? It's still a great looking car and I'm sure it will be a beast on the street/track. :clap2:

Great releases from Ford lately! Wonder if the RS will hurt ecoboost Mustang sales? If I had to choose I would have to pick the RS over the eco mustang :shrug:

I would take the RS over the ecoboost Mustang hands down on performance and capability, but the price point will likely line it up against a nice GT 5.0L. At that point, the decision gets difficult for me.

Toyotas "bold moves" ad campaign makes me cringe, it's absolute crap that they're trying to sling boring cars as exciting.
