Ford Etis and Cotus

Sorry for new thread but I couldn't find the answers to my questions.

Once Etis shows your car with the uprated springs is there any further change? ie notifying about shipping etc

Why won't Cotus recognise my VIN?

Cotus from what I gather, is for USA cars, and it has never really been all that great for tracking here in the last few months anyhow.

As for the other question, sorry cannot answer it. bt Hope I did clear up some of the Cotus issue.

COTUS only works for US orders unfortunately.

ETIS as far as I am aware does not update with the status of your order. Mine updated with the coils information but nothing else to say it is at the docks etc.

As Karen/Stacey said, cotus is US - Etis is worldwide, both are fairly slow at updating compared to the information KB and SP (Above) can get you on the [email protected] address!

Been tracking mine on the WWL website for the last two weeks. Offloaded at Zeebrugge 6.29am this morning !

Bit sad really... been following it every 24 hours - across the Atlantic, up through the North Sea and down to Bremerhaven and then down on to Zeebrugge through the English Channel... more like I'm waiting for a long lost relative or mail-order bride to arrive .

How long did it take to show up for u on this site after completing the etis stage ?

My window sticker on researchmaniacs.com gave a build date of 26/8, and about a week later in early September ETIS updated from the basic 4/5 lines of info to showing the larger amount of detail, and that it was built 30/8. It then took about 20-21 days before anything updated further on ETIS (the coil/interior information appearing) in the last week of September, and I assumed that it was now languishing in a storage area somewhere at the factory awaiting transport to Baltimore, and it was only when I saw [MENTION=24151]Bronzetooth[/MENTION] (who'd ordered after me) had posted on 29/9 that his car was booked on the Tonsberg on 2/10, that I checked and also found mine there as well.

So I'd say by the time ETIS updated (settled) with the final info in late September, my car was already well on its way to Baltimore, or was possibly even there already waiting for and booked onto the ship.

ETIS is very slow to update I think, so I'd start checking the WWL site as soon as the coil/interior info finally shows up.
