Ford Pass App and second hand cars

A word of warning ! If you buy a second hand car where the previous user has used the Ford Pass App, the previous owner still has access to the vehicle location and can unlock the car through the App ! It is easily fixed by doing a master reset on Sync3, but we have just bought a second hand Ford from a dealer in the UK where this was not done!

and check the number of keyless fobs listed by the car. I have no idea how car manufactures get away with their so called security features which in fact make it so much easier to steal a modern car than ever before. Don't even need the fob in hand to steal a vehicle now ffs! Car makers should stick to making cars and trying to actually fit them together properly. Just my 2p

My Ford pass app doesn’t work now. It’s not worked since the last iOS update just sticks on Ford logo screen then crashes each time
