So I currently have a 2019 GT PP2 ordered with an EDD of September 20th. As most of you know the PP2 includes 305/30 19 Michelin Pilots.

I was on the Ford Build website last night again for probably the 15th time since I decided to order the PP2 and all of a sudden the site is showing 265/40 19 front tire and 275/40 19 rear!! I chatted with customer service, called customer service and emailed my dealer. They all assured me the car is coming with the 305 Michelin Pilots and no one knows why the website is indicating 265 front and 275 rear tires now with no reference to manufacturer.

Anyone else see this or have an explanation?

It's a glitch. If you ordered the PP2 then you are getting 305 cup 2 tires all around. No need to worry

I didn't order my car but I had to wait 5 or so days to go pick mine up and I'm pretty sure I spent that whole time on the Ford website re-reading all the specs and building my car over and over again because I was so excited. Can't imagine what waiting for an ordered car would be like.

LOL!

So I guess that's why when I bought my brand new '16 in August when the '17s were coming out they knocked $9K off the ask and had about a dozen of them sitting on the lot.

It's a great car and I love it, but reality is at times they're almost giving them away.:p

I’m told only 2% of the 2019 Mustangs will be PP2’s so that does put them in somewhat of an exclusive category. They will be a bit more few and far between and most likely have a little bit better of a resale value than a standard GT.

Just checked the Ford Website. It now shows the 305 Tires when you select the PP2 package.

When did you order it? My EDD is crazy, it is 11-7-2019, more than 4 months.

I have heard where people say they were told 8 weeks from their dealer. I conclude that dealers don't know anything except how to tie ballons on to car doors.
