i would never buy another subaru after owning one. even though mine had no problems whatsoever after 85k miles and going FBO w/ e85 etc. well except for the a/c compressor, replaced under warranty, but even after that my a/c was never as cold as it was when it was new.

it was a rattle box with lots of potential problems waiting to surface. the oil pickup tube theyve been using for over a decade has a known weakness and yet they still choose to use it, LOL. it's still the same part being used in current model STIs
85K no problems, pretty good in my opinion. LIKE I SAID, MY "WIFE" LOVED HERS.

When I sold it, it had an intermittent knock after a hot start(after getting fuel for instance) that would go away as soon as I pulled out and get rolling.

Rod knock, weak ringlands, bad firewall welds, clicking clutch are just examples of common issues, which for some reason I have avoided over the 4.5 years of ownership.

Oh and I was pushing coolant out of the expansion tank, most likely because I was pushing 20 lbs of boost. Air was probably pushing thru the headgasket under full boost during highway pulls

Oh....

I've been really busy picking out a new car I haven't had time to respond to all the comments. I'm going to sum up my responses in one post.

I must say that some die hard Mustangs fans or fanboys as they are called, really don't want to hear any negative feedback about their cars because, it hurts their feelings.

It's hard to hear criticism about a car you like but, you would have to be and quote me on this a "an idiot" not to admit that the 2015 Mustang has seen its share of quality control issues. Just take a couple minutes and read through all the technical subforums about all the issues it has. Everything I posted in my last paragraph has been reported by others on this forum.

My post here is to inform people about the issues going on with my car to help them resolve their issues. I started the CEL issue post and since then at least 15 people if not more have reported the same problem. It's because of my car that Ford choose to resolve the issue so quickly. I made the biggest stink and brought the issue to light. So don't !@#$%^ bash me so quickly. At least I do more than try to show off my tint's and my new wheels.

A true car guy evaluates the situation and responds accordingly. Just because, you fanboys choose to ignore issues doesn't mean they don't exist. Wizen up and realize it's just a car and all cars have issues. No car is prefect. You don't need to blow a gasket just because, I said your cars not perfect! You didn't build it or design the thing you just bought. You can easily tell by the responses of you fanboys that you don't have a life outside of your Mustang and I think that's sad!

:doh:Good luck to you all!
Chill out, and good luck on what ever Car you buy or ( BICYCLE ) you buy.... Soooooo Loooong...... good by.... Take your Meds....

I'm in the never again group as well. Whoever thought a twin turbo Subaru was a good idea needs a swift punch in the dick.

I really don't understand your reaction. The majority of people that responded to this were happy for you and didn't say anything negative towards your situation.

Then you make this rant and start name-calling?

No offense but your reading comprehension is very low, if you found "most" of the responses to be offensive.

Thanks for showing your true colors, hopefully you find another car and find a better forum that will be more sensitive to your needs:thumbsup:
It's not a rant, I'm just expressing my opinion on all the comments that were made. Maybe you should take some time and actually read through all the posts and get past the first page before you make another comment.

Learn to read before you post! I don't have a problem with the forum, just fanboys like you that are quick to comment without reading through the entire post.

No more good is going to come out of this. You did the right thing by giving everyone a heads up in the other thread! Now let it go. If you feel that strongly that Mustangs are sub par there is many other automotive choices to be made. Good luck,

Sorry you had such a bad experience. Glad you were able to get out of the situation. Best of luck car shopping. I believe every single car made you will find to have it's fair share of problems if you go to forums or research online.

+1. There's the new Camaro coming out with a 4 cyl turbo. Maybe you will have better luck with that.

I'm still curious how long the process took for you. I've read that some lawyers can complete process in 30 to 60 days. But I also heard it could take 5 months. I just want a replacement mustang. I could live with 90% of problems this year mustang has. But I at least want one with a working transmission I can drive that's not sitting collecting dust on a dealer lot. I love my mustang but all these back ordered parts is starting to agitate me. So hopefully you see this and can tell me about your experience/time frame. Thanks

Speed racer was a terrible cartoon.
You take that back! Speed Racer was my favorite cartoon as a kid. I grew up with Trixie, Spritle, Chim Chim, and Pops - not to mention Speed and Racer X.

It does NOT take a lawyer to do a lemon law, at least not here in WA state. It typically takes about a month or two to complete the lemon law process.
