When i asked him (Jon jr.) about maxing out the Whipple, he suggested lock outs. His exact words were "the phasers went bad when he was trying to run the cams "
....but he did not think it was related to the cams themselves .
Would it be something with the install ??
Are their specific pitfalls my installer should be aware of ?
May be beefcake can elaborate as I think he was referring to his car.
Is that is a DD setting or overall? Also why is that? I'm considering doing that when you do all my head work.I wouldn't wanna run cams with lockouts
If the only loss is under or around 2k, i'm a little confused as to why that is an issue?I saw that too
I'm wondering what the loss would be if he didn't have vvt operational
I would be interested to see a dyno before and after with only change being the head work etc no smaller pulley.I don't see a lot of information out there about cams
And how they perform in the 2015-2017 cars
Even with my car I have not been able to dyno it yet
After the head work and porting the blower
I would like to get my boost level back to the 12 psi range before the dyno
