anyone use the fold away mirror feature?

As described in the owner's manual
Fold-Away Exterior Mirrors
Push the mirror toward the door window
glass. Make sure that you fully engage the
mirror in its support when returning it to its
original position.

Sort of concerned something will break even though it's designed to be folded. Seems to take a lot of force

It won't break, unless you push it wrong.

I push it in every time I go to the carwash. No worries, it won't break

get a Feeling of the way the mirrors turn (fold) away, so you apply the force in the proper direction (most Manual fold away mirrors are best folded away (turned) using both Hands (applying about the same force in the direction of the back of your car at the outer part of the mirror as you apply in the opposite direction at the inner part. this means you are creating a turning force with the pivotarm being the turningcenter but not force onto the pivotarm (the Little arm being fixed to your carbody carrying the mirror housing)

OK, I was able to fold the mirrors, I have brand new car over anxiety or something. They take more force to turn than my other vehicle, so I was a bit mirror shy ;)

Seems like a lot of work... or I'm just lazy.

I might have to create some kind of device that attaches a bracket and strings to the housing so I can pull them in from my seat.

Living in NYC where mirrors are regularly hit or stolen, you will train your brain to fold your mirrors every time you touch your car. It becomes a part of your routine.

Seriously?? I figured most newer cars would have this option especially in a premium trim level. They are easy enough to fold manually, power would've been nice though.

I probably won't end up folding my mirrors, I'm just exploring the features of the car. But here's a cool photo with the top down
