Foglight Turnsignal?

This may be a stupid question but is there anyway you could get the fog lights to work as turn signals? The fog lights go off when the turn signals are on so could the wiring maybe allow this? Of course you'd have to get different bulbs or some orange tint.

Not that I'm aware of, the alternating signal is sent by the BCM along the bus to the turn signal lamp harnesses. You could TRY some creative re-wiring, but I am not 100% certain if the fog lamps and turn signals share the same voltage (I'm leaning towards yes, but don't hold me to it).

You could also risk damaging the BCM as well, which is not a cheap fix. Trust me on that one.

You can make it so the fog light stays on with the turn signal. I have mine set that way already.

Thanks for the replies! Ill take a look at that link. I was hoping to take the bulbs out of the turn signal completely and black out the housing, then just use the fogs to give it a more classic look. ;)

Export models have the drl globe in the fog light housing along with the fog light globe (2 sockets). So that would be a start. If you could get a yellow globe to fit the drl socket you will be a winner.l

Forscan software. You can enable fogs with high beams too.
