Upgraded my 2015 GT w/ MPConcepts’ GT350 front spoiler. This means OEM fogs get deleted. My OEM turn signals remain, and I see where you can replace them w/ aftermarket turn signal/fog combos, but they always specify for 2018-2022. Is this because of wiring compatibility with 2015-2017s or because manufacturer assumes I have fog lights already on my 2015? Anyway, would love to upgrade my front turn signals with a fog combo if possible.

They specify for the 18+ because the fog lights for the 18+ are integrated into the turn signals. Not sure if those replacements would fit in that bumper, that’s something you’d have to check with MP Concepts about. You could order them and test fit them to see if they work, if not you can always return them (if the return policy allows). Or maybe there’s a GT350 turn signal/fog light that would fit?

Kinda makes sense but also wondering if wiring to OEM fogs would actually plug into these aftermarket combo turn/fogs. How do the replacement combo fogs know to turn on?

There might be a pigtail harness that connects your old fog harness to the 18+ kit. Diode Dynamics is on here as a sponsor I believe, might be worth reaching out to them. I’ve seen a few people fab the 15-17 fog lights into the MP Concepts 350 bumper but it sounds like a royal pain and honestly kinda takes away from the 350 look.

Agree with MAGS1, I think the 2018+ design are switchbacks from the factory where as 15-17, we have separate lights for turn signals and fog lights. @OneTwo you could try and see if Diode Dynamics has the integrated switchback lights for the 15-17 gen, pretty sure this would work for what you are trying to do. Just make sure that you get the added resistor (they sell this too for cheap) otherwise the LED switchback you put in will blink fast when you put on the blinkers. Nice car BTW. LOVE that this is a droptop with the GT350 styled front end. 👍

Thanks. And I agree, don’t want to retrofit in the original fogs.

I will tip my friend about reaching out DD when he starts the front-end mods on his new 2015 GT project. It's in the shop for the installation of the new rotors and wheels, plus the alignment.
