Hey all, just looking on advice on my tuning options available to me with the Power Pack 2 for my 17 GT.

I had it Dyno'd today, and it put out 384/325 to the wheels, which I thought was fairly low. Car has Power Pack 2 (GT350 intake + throttle body, tune), MagnaFlow resonated x pipe and Roush axle backs. The car was also running fairly rich if I'm not mistaken at 11.9. Funny thing is, with each pull (ran 4 times), the HP stayed the same around 380-384, but the torque increased every time, with the first pull having around 297 torque and the fourth pull having 325. I did unplug the cable by the headlight to turn off tc and everything.

Where do you guys recommend I go from here? I was recommended getting a custom flex fuel tune since 91 isn't that great here in AZ. Should I try to figure out why it's running rich, or just go straight for a custom tune (does Lund tune GT350 throttle bodies?). Or, should I look for a local shop in AZ to get it dialed in instead?

Thanks!

91 isn't great here you are right. Unfortunately we also don't have real e85 anymore either but the flex fuel we do have (e54-70) is still better than the 91. I know some have issues tuning for the TB and may recommend changing that back to stock due to no real gains from it. I can personally attest to Shaun @ AED. Performance and service is great. He's one of the majors on here. Others also like Lund or PBD. These specialize on our platform. You could go local as well. If you're in the Phoenix area check out Black Market Racing. Good bunch of guys over there. Though they do a wide range of vehicles they know Mustangs as well. That's also where I typically dyno unless I need a log badly and it's a Saturday and they're not open lol.

We're getting some better air right now cooling off so I would expect some better numbers regardless in the coming days.

I'm just really disappointed, I feel like the numbers are lower than what a stock GT would put out (at least HP, maybe not Tq). I was actually looking into Arizona Elite Motorsports since it's close by.

Keep in mind despite being remote tuners some of these guys are Mustang specialists. I highly recommend Shaun @ AED. Despite being out of California its like he's next door. His flex tune is great despite our lackluster fuel here.

Check out the local section theres a thread ongoing about this topic actually.

I was looking into Lund as well, and I'm getting mixed results. Do you guys know if they tune Mustangs with the GT350 throttle body/intake?

Another AED fan here. Shaun did my initial tune, and I'm back working with him again in regards to my flex fuel update right now.
