Yeah seems like the clear and the black paint around the housing on some brands taillights fail pretty early. There’s a few people here that have had the clear start peeling within a year. Have heard good things about Morimoto, at least better than the other brands. And if you’re going for a certain look, like amber sequentials, the options are only aftermarket unfortunatelyIf you want amber sequentials I think aftermarket is your only option though. I have had decent luck with my Morimoto clears so far, but the car is admittedly, garage kept. I’ve seen their clear fail within 3 years too. The aftermarket for lights these days blows for longevity.
On the Bronco6g forum, I haven’t seen a single person happy with any headlights or taillights they’ve bought.
