Fixing deep scratches on Interior Trim

I have two small, deep scratches on the interior Trim above the glove compartment. While it's not noticeable to most, I know it's there and it's driving me nuts!

What's the best way of repairing the damage? What type of material is that trim as well.

Are you talking about the "leather" on the dash, or the aluminum dash trim?

This may help, brother used this guide on a scratch he had on his dash. Now you have to REALLLLLY look to see anything left of it.
What guide is that? If you posted a link, I can't see it.

The aluminum dash trim.
You're likely not going to be able to fix it due to the machined pattern. You're better off looking for a replacement part from New Take Off, LKQ, or Levittown Ford/AutoNation White Bear Lake.
