Having a fight with myself over my first upgrade for my baby. I feel like it needs something to set itself out from the rest of the herd. The main two upgrades I've been looking at is doing Color changing DRL's and switch back turn signals; Or doing Corsa Extreme Catback quad tips with Roush Rear valence.

I'm also open to other ideas, I tried to convince the wife to let me just go straight to a Whipple supercharger in it but got denied on that. Going to do my taxes soon so I'll have a little spare and definitely want to do something to change it up. Appreciate all ideas and suggestions, I've never had a brand new car to do work on so that's the only reason I haven't jumped on anything. When I had my 09 V6 I had no issue playing around with it and throwing a 50 shot of nitrous on it haha.
Thanks,
Babystang

I'm in the same boat as you. Personally I went with Flowmaster Outlaw axle backs as my first mod. I just recently purchased a GT350 steering wheel and shift knob, then I think my next performance mod will be a short throw and the Ford Power Pack 3 after some internal debating.

That would be a hard sell for most of us happily married men me thinks :headbonk:

My thoughts on your MODS
The lighting stuff is silly to me. YMMV
That exhaust with the needed Roush Valance looks killer (but way out of my price range). I'd go for Chrome tips personally.

Good luck :headbang:

I'd definitely go with the Corsa Extreme Quad Tips with the Roush Valence. My first upgrade was an exhaust too, got an X-Pipe with Roush Axle backs. If you don't have the Performance Pack, you could also try some suspension upgrades.

Haha. Convincing for the mustang with a new born was a fun enough sell but I got that one passed, Supercharger got denied fast though lol ;P.
Not sure how the chrome tips would look on black GT compared to black tips, I'll have to search up some pictures and compare em.

I've definitely looked into suspension since I don't have the PP. The only thing that turns me off is the awful roads here in New York. I really don't want to lower to mess up my car but I'll look into different ones as well for that. Inclined driveway makes everything annoying as well, but I would love to not have a truck looking stang :p

Thanks everyone for input so far!

Exhaust first, good choice on the Corsa! ..and before you go supercharger you always want to upgrade the suspension beforehand anyway. Driveway issues myself, so going with the BMR minimal lowering springs, 082/089.
Good luck on your choices!

My first upgrade was an exhaust (Roush/X Pipe) Next I added a Steeda CAI. Now I am about to add GT350r springs and Koni Sport shocks/struts. This should be a pretty firm handling setup, but the drop is very minimal. The drop should only be about half an inch. It should increase handling substantially while keeping the ride height I wanted for a daily driver.

Congrats on those upgrades, I'm on cjpony and American muscle every day drooling at this stuff.

All I've installed so far is the Ford Racing 8 ball shifter.

Needing another renter at my place before I can afford some more of this fancy unnecessary bling

Corsa exhaust. A great tone makes the car so much more fun to drive.

We have a great set-up with the Steeda springs & the Pro Action shocks & struts ... keep it in the Steeda Family :)

Skip the light bullshyte and do an exhaust.

Love my Steeda Pro-Action shocks - I track the car, too... so far wonderful.

I was going to do quad exhaust until the 2018 was released. Now I'm waiting to see if the 2018 valence will work on my 2017 at a cheaper price. But I do love the look.

Let us know what you do.
