Looking to make my ecoboost handle better. Want to know what upgrades from least significant to most one can do...

Here's a start.

Better tires- Michelin, Nitto- List what kind you reccomended please
Bigger and lighter wheels- FORD PP wheels, FORD Foundry, 6R, Vossen, Velgen etc and what size is the best for Ecoboost?
Suspension Upgrades- front brace, sway bars, Ford suspension handling package

Thanks for your help in advance....

Quite the open ended question and I am sure someone else will come along with a "use the search bar" comment and nothing else but I will happily give you my amateur opinion.

So based on your profile/post I am working off the assumption you live in New York with a non performance pack mustang.

My First go-to recommendation would be new tires. I did substantial research on exactly your topic and everything said the same thing. For the most immediate performance upgrade, upgrade your tires. If you can update your wheels even better. This is the first vehicle I have ever put summer tires (Nitto NT555 G2) on and wow the difference was immediately noticeable. Though not slap you in the face noticeable, more like make you smirk noticeable. I also up-sized my wheels to 20inch Vossens, I believe that hurt my straight line performance though. So you'll have to decide if you are truly going for performance or also care about looks, because generally a smaller diameter wheel is going to be better and I think a lot of people who track the cars use a lightweight 18inch wheel. My biggest mistake though was putting a 315/35/20 tire on the back of my car, It is wayyyy to wide and way too thick. If I had to do it again I would (and will when needing new tires) drop down to a 305 or possibly 295 width tire for the rear. While I love the look, it has hurt my MPGs significantly (~3-5mpg less), and my speedometer is of by 5mph at 80.

I would say look at your budget and go with tires, and wheels (if $ allows) first. Though another word of caution is that since you seem to be from new york you probably can't run summer tires year round so you'll have to have 2 sets of wheels/tires.

As far as everything else.. its all pretty incremental. I initially was considering the ford performance handling package but once I did some research I determined its not worth it for the money. Steeda (they are the first that came to my mind) seems be well regarded on this forum and in general and have kits equivalent or superior to the ford package for less money.

All the other suspension upgrade bits have various purposes, so you are best off deciding what aspect you don't like about the handling and upgrading from there, such as (could be wrong)
too floaty for ya? new springs/dampers
wheel hoppin? Steeda/BMR kits just for that
Body roll issues? get a stiffy...anti roll bar that is

If tires/wheels don't get you to where you want then you have to determine what you want to improve. After that I would contact a sales rep from the company of your choice and talk it out with them. A lot of these aftermarket companies are so small if the sales rep isn't an engineer, then hes probably just as informed on the parts as one, and if he isn't knowledgeable on the parts himself he can probably walk to the next room over and talk to the engineers directly.

Solid advice there.

I recommend beefier tires & wheels first, then Steeda struts & springs. You will see a big improvement in overall ride quality and less bouncy/floaty feeling.

Contact Tim (aka tj@steeda), he will gladly discuss your specific needs and goals. He and his team helped me find the perfect solution for my car, and it now handles like a modern muscle car should
