Its funny, I work with a guy like this. He has a Lancer with the NA SOHC motor that he bolted a chopped together manifold and a turbo off of a 4G63 Eclipse on to and claims it runs low 8's at the 1/4 mile (meanwhile it can't even make it in to work 2 days a week because it runs so badly).

I don't think he has any idea how much power and suspension work it takes to get to even a 10 second pass much less into the single digits, let alone the driver skill needed. Although to be fair he also tried to convince me he had a 5.8L 1998 mustang convertible that would go 200 on the highway no problem.

Type R and Accord Sport 2.0T have it. There is also a version in the EU with a 1.5T with Vtec. It's just closer to what they used to call E-VTEC now.
