Will do....a sign up to their website wont hurt either.....I have a bit of an insider with Herrods too, so it will be nice to see how all the stuff they are working on from the USA pans out.

I read an article a while ago where, let's say an "older" woman, has already purchased the yellow one and it was at $125k but she wanted the first RHD new Mustang and was a long time customer of Mustang Motorsports having bought converted ones from them in the past. I wouldn't pay it but there are people who want to be early owners so prices may spike on market for our cars as they come in.

Prices will always spike when demand exceeds supply. Did anyone really doubt this at all? Basic economics

Anyway, nice pics in Bathurst. With TSW Bathurst wheels as well.

Totally agree HybridGT. I almost did what you have done and ordered a hardtop after I ordered my Convertible with a view to selling it for profit but as the queue was quite long with SA dealers by the time I thought about it (and the fact that timing of the eta of my car has been all over the shop) I decided not to - but definitely profit to be made...how much will be answered as people start seeing the early deliveries and we cut through the guesswork and actually see EXACTLY what we are getting for our money (trim quality, etc). Think you have made a great decision having one up for sale early...

Mustang Motorsport's Mustang at Bathurst.

When will we see the Mustang take over racing duty from the Falcon and will they use the Coyote motor as the basis for the 5ltr engine?

(Isn't the current racing motor for Ford a pushrod OHV?)

Depends really. Early resale will be based on how many are up for sale (privately), timing, waiting list and even color to some extent. That'll determine 'market' value, over dealer RRP.

After all, I know some will be happy to sell off for $5 - 10K above sticker. These will be picked up within a few hours. That's a tiny premium to pay for early ownership rather than having to wait 14 months.

I was just telling Aus-MustangGT that my dealership has one guy that ordered 6 mid-year. For private resale. The people doing this will definitely be willing to sell them off at a lower profit than people that ordered 1.

I think personally, the only figure I'd consider would be $25+ if I have to wait another 6 months.;)

I've decided on the TSW Bathurst wheels in this particular finish for my Mustang. Importing wheels like Vossen VSF-1 and MMR GF6 was just going to be too expensive.

Vossen has a local distributor. Hit up BBoss Wheels.

By memory prices range $3850 to 4100 for a set of staggered 20's.

If you like Bathurst's, check out Stance SC-1 too. Similar design but different color options. OzzyTyres has these

I'd like to think next year, but it will probably never happen as the organizers will require 4 doors or some other technical impediment to match the other brands
Once the Mustang was allowed, its only a short stretch to be able to use the 350 R
And when will those morons with micophones stop trying to do in depth interviews with drivers wearing full face helmets?
Here's hoping!

Those prices are about right. I got a price from BBoss Wheels but the Aussie dollar was a bit stronger then!

The Ford Dealer I'm buying from has a contact at TSW and we're working on something.

Anyone up for ordering parts and constructing the car at home like Lego? Probably faster than waiting for Ford. No joke.

I have bought some STANCE concave wheels Black machined face Chrome lip 20x10 all round .These are from Ozzy wheels and tyres at Hoxton park. They have one of the best showrooms in Sydney. The wheels have just arrived. The big advantage of these wheels as regards fitment goes is that the hubs at this stage are not machined therefore they can be made to any offset.Ozzy will custom fit these to clear Brembos. If I bought these wheels in the states I would have to use 20x9 on front to clear Brembos. this way I can use 20x10 with nice concave on front. $2360 fitted my tyres. Contisport 5P performance tyres close to Mich Pilot sport cup 2 in dry but way better in wet. 275/35/20 front 295/35/20 rear, they are wide, they measure 312 across sidewall to sidewall.I bought them pay 3 get 4,Isaved $450 , $1600 for 4 .I think deal is still on Bob Jane.
