I finally had time last night to dremel off the honeycomb the upper and lower front bumper. I think it turned out well and it saved $300!

Looks good. I want to do this to mine but maybe add a mesh of some sort so random people aren't sticking their hands in my grill and poking my radiator :D

Hopefully for you, a rock, bird, snow/ice off a car or large object won't come along in the future and ruin your radiator costing you big $$$'s.

Just so you know, that's actually the A/C condenser that you can see. The Radiator is behind that.

Did you do it on the car, or remove the nose?

What dremel bits did you use?

I took the front bumper off and used a two metal dremel wheels to cut it since I didn't have any others. I though that something might come flying in but I think it's a trade off I can live with.

i dont think you have to worry about it too much.. cobras, shelbys, bosses, have been going grillless for decades and they're still around so..can't be that bad

That's the thing that keeps me from doing this on my car. However, the GT grill without the honeycomb looks better than the EB grill without it.
