I guess we will find out what exactly they mean once the first EUs arrive over here ;)

My first cooling mod was the Full-Race FMIC. They are designed and tested in a much warmer place than Palm Springs. It's made more of a difference than I expected.

Same here. I really didn't expect it to be noticeable, but I was pleasantly surprised. :headbang:

It's almost 90s here. I can't get my charge air temps anywhere near what factory fmic was doing in the 50s. It's a huge difference. Glad I spent the time and money on it first to get it out of the way.

I can hear the turbo better also. Sounds happy now.

Yep, on a mid-30's day, the charge temps would be in the 90's. The other day, it was mid-60's and my charge temps never went over low 70's. Next to the tune, it's truthfully the best money that I believe can be spent on it.

Can't wait for my Full Race FMIC to come. The heat here in south Florida makes the car run like crap!

Go Full Race IMO. Haven't seen levels yet but like the better clamps for the charge pipes on the FR

I went with Levels, and it's a damn good IC for the money. My low speed log never went above 90*, and that was at the initial hit of the throttle/low speed. When I logged a 3rd gear pull (60-90 mph), it never went more than 7-8* above ambient. Nik uses the high pressure hose clamps with his kit, not the typical worm type hose clamp. He's also working on charge pipes for the EBM, but being a one man show, it may take a little longer. He's done a lot for the Focus/Fiesta ST crowd, so it's not like the Eco family is new to him. Plus, he uses his own CO EBM as the guinea pig..lol.

Here's another vote for Nik at Levels Performance. The quality is just as good, if not better, than Full Race plus it's easier on the wallet. The LP is a direct bolt-on replacement, utilizes a bar and plate core (Vibrant), is hand TIG welded, uses all the OEM sensors and fittings, and can be used for applications up to 600 hp. His kit also uses high quality silicon adapters with t-bolt clamps (which is much much better than worm gears).

On a WOT 3rd gear pull, my charge air temps (CATs) have never gotten over about 15° above ambient. The CATs will actually start dropping during the pull and only slightly go back up towards the end of the pull (but never gets over 15° above ambient).

In short, I love the LP FMIC and it was worth every penny spent on it. If you contact Nik, tell him your from the forum and Justin sent you. He'll usually do forum and Facebook group members pretty good!

Plus, like Evil said, he's doing charge pipes very soon and those are very nice too.

Here's a review I did of the LP FMIC. Check it out!
