Nice job!! What were your impressions of the car and how it handled?

I have always been nervous doing AutoX as I think I would mess up and go thru the course the wrong direction based on the cone layout. Maybe one day I will give it a go.

This was my first time doing AUTOX, grab yourself an instructor and you will be good.
As for handling it took me a bit to get everything down, I drive an automatic so I found that starting in second gear was the best way to go and then staying in second. Anyway, I'm rambling, it handles like a dream!! Just make sure your tire pressure doesnt get too hot... if it does, tail happy heaven!!

I wouldn't worry about that. It does happen but so what? Get ready for the next run. (I've actually done something similar. No one even commented on it.)

It's tremendously fun.

To the OP. Nice job. That looked like a fairly high speed track.

Go do it! It's cheap and no cause for concern to you or your car as long as you're not a total moron. There are usually many experienced guys that will be happy to ride along with you and help. The key is to try to seek those people out first thing in the morning and do the track walk with them so they can teach you what to look for. Don't stop yourself, sign up for one and have a blast! I always do when I go.
