I think this commercial was only aired once on ABC's good morning America during the New York reveal. Which is probably why you never saw it before.

For what it's worth...Ford needs to use commercials like that if they're really going after Gen-Y with this car. I dunno if they're going to really pull it off to be honest.

I've seen it recently, I made my wife rewind so I got the It's dumb, I don't want my marketing dollars spent on hipsters. Hey :ford: show the Goodwood Clip and combine it with the Bullet movie clip, hell do a collage of footage from over the years, I still love the McQueen in the Corn Field one, best ever IMO. Celebrate the 50 years, not douche PBR drinkers who got a Smart Car for graduation. If this is your plan fire your marketing department. You should be celebrating Mustang with all their podiums this year with the current Mustang, then show the new one "building on what we learned at the track" Build excitement not someone with non-prescription eye glasses wearing jeans my Cat couldn't fit into.

I agree, build excitement not crap that should be shot for a McDonalds commercial. Hell start with pieces from "Stories from the creators".

Well as someone who I believe the ads are targeted at (24 year old male, techy, buying his first Mustang), I love the ads. Ford is looking to gain a new generation of Mustang owners with the 2015 Mustang, so pushing the whole 50 years thing may not do much for that crowd. I appreciate the 50 years of Mustang, and is one of the reasons I'm getting the 2015, instead of trying to save some money and going for a 2014 or older. I'm the first one in my family, and pretty sure the only one out of all my friends, to own a Mustang.

Those who have been a part of Mustang's incredible history no doubt feel passionate about the 50 year legacy of this amazing car. But they/you will be buying the 2015 no matter what.
