She's more than welcome to leave at anytime. Plenty more out there. I work and pay all the bills, this is my house she lives in, I own a business and I work a lot I know. But I never treat her bad, I'm home every night, I don't drink and go out. I'm as clean as they come. But when I want to work on my car or bike in my free time it's constantly nagging.
It's always
why does it take so long?
How much longer?
Why do you have to keep buying parts?
Why is it so loud?
I don't see the point you can't go that fast on the street.
You give your cars and bikes more attention then me.

Nag nag nag.
She goes out with her friends, I don't complain.
She buys cloths. I don't complain.
She buys shoes non stop! I swear it's like a fking shoe store here.

I do all the house cleaning because I have OCD and feel only I can do it right lol.
I cook and do all the yard and landscape work.
She does the laundry.
I make it pretty easy for her. Plus since it's my house I pay all the bills.
I bought her the car she wanted (2017 Lexus RC F 350)

I have a all original 1956 F100 which still has all of its original paint, engine, drivetrain, interior etc and only 27000 miles I keep thinking about getting rid of it. And when I do mention it and start to post it on eBay and other sites she flips. She loves this truck. But my bikes and cars she just don't get it.
Lol. I know it's crazy.
Oh I get the same shit! But I've got 2 kids with her :frusty: She wants everything done but doesn't want to let me have the time to get it done! The night I deleted all the emissions crap on my truck she about had a meltdown  I got it done by myself with her nagging at me in 4 hours and she didn't realize that if she'd have just left me the hell alone it might have taken 2 1/2 tops... I want to do a lot of the things I have to pay people to do myself because I know if I try to go out in the garage and tackle an hour project it will take me all damn weekend  She's lucky the good outways the bad and that I've already been divorced once and know it's just not worth it or I'd be out :kickrock:

And if ya'll haven't noticed I tend to poke fun at Voodoo quite often  Sometimes we're on the same page, sometimes not but it's all in the fun of forum life  Just NEVER bring up hoping that Ford will reveal a V8 TT Raptor

Well I'm 45. And I never been married and have no kids. I know I'm set in my ways and I work a lot. But like you said, if she would just let me do my thing it wouldn't take as long. I don't complain when she goes shopping. Hell take the whole week and go shopping I don't care. That gives me time to do my thing. I swear some people (women) have no idea how long it takes to do some things. Example: TV. she sees things on tv like home improvements, car shows (overhaulin) etc and she thinks everything goes without a problem. I'm like wtf they have 10 guys working on that damn project and you know why they get it done? BECAUSE THEIR WIFES / GF isn't nagging all the time about how long it takes!!
I'm a business owner and mechanic. I do this every single day. I have all the tools to do it right. But no matter what I do it's always the same.
Are you done yet?
When will you be done?
Ring ring ring! Hello? How much longer??

Here this is my life at home.....

Strip? Who said strip lol
Lethal toasted the stock clutch on a few passes with nos.
Yup, they are down the street from me, and making WAY more power than your goals. It held up fine (again with more power than your goals) on the street and road course.

I doubt they had 700hp with the NOS kit.

You're right. Their Whipple Supercharged car was only making 819whp without NOS when they smoked the stock clutch at the drag strip :headbonk:
Lee, they smoked the clutch when the car was on NOS at the strip. Not with the Whipple. They haven't posted times with the Whipple because they were waiting on the clutch.:headbonk::headbonk:

I stand corrected Bob. However they had an issue and the clutch pedal drop to the floor and they smoked the clutch at 9,200rpm for a second after dumping it.

621whp is similar to your 700bhp target and again, I think the stock clutch will be fine for street/road course use. Drag racing is hard on clutches.

I look forward to seeing how your headers and McLeod holds up in the long term, but for most people, the stock clutch is more than enough and going to be far more reliable.

Lee, sorry but you are wrong again. If they put a 150hp shot of nos on the otherwise stock engine they did not have 621rwhp. They never even posted dyno results of the car with nos on it. You can not take for example a 526 hp rated number and put a 150hp shot of nos on it and say "I have 676hp now" doesn't work that way. And for sake of argument, even if they did have 676 crank Hp that does not equal 621 rwhp. Where do you come up with this shit? A clutch hp rating is a crank hp rating. Not a wheel hp rating. Don't need to tell me about drag racing, I've done it for over 20 + years. I built and raced a 8.30 second (1/4 mile) car for 7 years. Besides no where did I say I was drag racing my GT350.
Since when have you become a clutch spokesman for McLeod?
Tell me Lee. How reliable are the 5.2 in stock form? Granted I haven't had any issues as of yet, but others have already had engine failures. Possibly due to opg's failing. Is that a reason to judge all 8000+ 5.2L voodoos? Nope. But you can't judge a engine by it's use of headers and clutch either.
If I do decide to build a 700+ hp voodoo don't for a second think I'm going to do so with a stock bottom end. Or clutch for that matter.
By the way, if you for a Second think the stock clutch is good for 700hp that's wrong again. Perhaps as a putting around street car but nobody with 700 hp putts around. Nobody putts around in a 526hp car either.

I like to disassemble things.
He tried to put some breaks in there so it wouldn't get filtered out. You have to make it work. Or just copy and paste the following into your browser search field...

The point is the stock clutch will not handle 700 crank hp. Lethal has proven this months ago. But stuntman thinks otherwise.
