I was going to wait but things just fell into place. Good deal on a new ‘19.
Magnetic grey, blue stripes, black roof, comfort seats and CF dash. Probably will remove the stripes but who knows.
Was a blast to drive up from Orange County to Bakersfield even though the freeways in LA are terrible.

I have the same exact color combo with the black roof also. IMO it's a weird combination on paper, but it looks fantastic in reality. One of the best color combos IMO. Enjoy it man, you're going to get a lot of compliments!

Congrats! Me personally, I like no stripes. I went back and forth pulling mine off my gt500, but never did; just ended up trading for my 350r. But its your car in the end.

Congrats! I say keep the stripes too. I was going to remove mine (black car/white stripes) but they have really grown on me.

Congratulations on getting a great car. Live with the strips for awhile. If they do not grow on you, remove them. I'm thinking they will grow on you.

By the way you did let the lovely lady drive, right? :)

My better half gets behind the wheel tonight....She really has a lead foot so I know she’s going to love it. We followed each other home yesterday and every time I was close she’d roll her window down and smiled ear to ear.

Another vote for keeping the stripes, Kona over Magnetic is gorgeous.

I must admit, when the Mrs and I were alone for the first time after laying eyes on the car, I was giddy as a school girl. All other times I had my poker face on....gotta play the game but this dealership really was super.
Ya the stripes have grown on me already. Didn’t realize the stripes had so much metal flake in them until I looked close today.

Keep stripes. You got a Shelby, don't be ashamed. Show your stripes!

If I would have ordered the car, I would not include stripes.
You guys are relentless ;-)
I’m think ceramic coating and PPF as well. That may make the decision for me.

The one thing you did not mention is the most important of all. What does your wife think?

Regarding PPF, do not, I repeat, do not wait. There have been way to many threads of people who did and regretted it. Ceramic, although affording a little bit of extra protection is mainly for ease of maintenance. That's a strictly personal choice. I had it professionally done a year ago and believe it was worth every penny.
