When I got my 19 it came with stripes. I also told my self they would probably come off. I kept getting complements on the car so I waited. Now they seem to belong.
Great to hear you are enjoying your Shelby. For us taking the Shelby out for rides is helping with all the stay at home time.

Taking my car in Saturday to line up the fenders to the hood, no big deal. I’m almost tempted to do it myself, they made it sound really easy.

I did my own fenders and hood. I also had to do the rear bumper (broken clip)
Dealer was going to do it, but they didn't have their own body shop.
Fit and finish leaves a little to be desired, but you can't see it when you're driving it LOL!
Get your 1K miles so you can rev that beast up.

The panel matching looks pretty easy after it was explained to me. The guy who’s doing it is a friend that runs the techs in a very good body shop. I’ll watch the master and learn another skill.
Close to 500 miles the first week. If it wasn’t 107 today I’d probably put a couple hundred more on it. Not a drop of oil being used but I’m checking every day though.
Truly an amazing car, I feel blessed.

I had a 16, red with black stripes and loved the car. In 19, traded her for an red R and no stripes (red R's come with no stripes). I have been back and forth with myself about putting black stripes on it.

Pretty sure I will leave it stripeless.

Reason Red R's are stripeless.

The little stripe next to the large stripe is ALWAYS RED on a R. If I had a large black stripe the minnie red stripe would disappear in with the paint.

My thought if I put stripes on it would be a black stripe with the minnie stripe being yellow.

Fred, I have black stripes, but same color car. No oil usage in 1200 miles, and I don't drive her too easy. Never shift before 3500-4000 and cruise around 3K, even around town. Highway on ramps area great place to wind her out.

Race Red, Ruby Red and all Orange R's had to be ordered without stripes.

In fact Ford would not even allow a 2015 or 2016 R model to be built in Competition Orange for those MY's even though Competition Orange was available on a GT350 in 2015 and 2016..

In 2017 there were no Orange GT350/R's of any kind but in 2018 Orange Fury became available but again with the R model having to come stripe less.

Nice ride I’ve been tempted to get one just can’t justify though. I’m enjoying my 5 0. And fenders not lining up at that price point is insane but hey Fords gonna Ford.
