My husband and I finally have our Mach 1. It was a long wait with several unexpected turns but we pulled home our FJG HP tremec Mach 1 on Saturday night.

We originally ordered our car with every package (700A, elite, HP, manual) on April 10 and received our VIN number a couple days later. Original build date of July 5 which was pushed back numerous times until it was finally canceled a couple weeks ago. We were on the fence about ordering a 2022 because of the decrease in Horsepower, possibly not having the 700a package option, etc.

I started looking all over the the United States for a Mach 1 with all that we had ordered and couldn't seem to find any with the exact build. Found some that were close but large mark ups which we were not willing to pay since we originally ordered at MSRP. Last Wednesday I found our exact build in Colorado with car in transit. It had a markup but I text the salesman just for laughs, because I was certain it wouldn't work, "MSRP and it's a done deal". Couple hours later I get a text "OK we have a deal". I hadn't even told my husband about this . That night I said, so I found this car......... 2 days later everything was finalized. We drove our beautiful car home on Thursday and it is waiting for PPF, full ceramic, and tinting in January (which was our appointment date for having our original ordered Mach 1 done).

My husband placed the original order on our Mach 1 after I test drove it, taking my word that we needed it! 😁 We can't stop smiling and can't wait to drive this thing when it is finished getting the ppf and ceramic. Also, nicer weather since we are in Seattle.

There is so much more to this story but this post is already long enough. I've enjoyed reading everybody's posts and hate to admit how much time I've spent parsing through all the posts over the past 8 months! 😬

The car is sitting at my parents in the trailer bc they live near Portland and we will be trailering it down there for the ppf work in January. I realized when we got home to Seattle that I took a ton of pictures of the car but not the chassis number🤦🏻‍♀️I’ll have to take one thanksgiving.

Interesting...I'll bet you found the car at the Ford dealer in Longmount, CO. That's where I found mine. I had mine shipped as I was a bit worried about driving in winter over the passes here in WA. Congrats!

yes! That’s where we got ours. Which one did you get? The blue or yellow? They were so awesome to deal with. In fact when my husband special orders his f350 super duty in the future we are going through them. We left Longmont at 8 Thursday night and drove to Laramie. Drove through a blizzard🤦🏻‍♀️. Good thing the wind was blowing with 40 mph gusts to keep the snow from sticking 🥴

I got the red one that apparently came in prior to yours and the blue and yellow ones...those two are still there as far as I know. Got it about three weeks ago. It's a premium with 6-speed Tremic, and the Performance Package. Pretty much exactly how I would have ordered it. They were easy to deal with and the shipper they chose worked out well.
I didn't want to drive it home in this weather so we shipped it. I've discovered that the Cup 2 tires are horrendous this time of year and terrifying to drive in any road with ruts or is worn down a bit. The tramlining is severe, especially on I-90. We are east of Seattle. I have a full set of Cooper Zeon's on order and they will go on in two weeks. That should solve the problem. I'll probably sell the Cup 2's if the Zeon's work out.
The dealer was easy to deal with and it all worked out as planned. Happy to hear that you guys found them and it worked out also.

Where east do you live? We live east of Seattle too. We are replacing tires with ps4s I believe and will buy the set of wheels from levittown Ford that look like the oem wheels to put our cup 2s on for the track. We want the OEM wheels for everyday driving but want another track set that we can swap easily. I'll have to look at those coopers.

Let me know if you are selling those cup 2s! We might be interested in having a second set because they won't last long on the track.

We're in North Bend. I'm getting the Zeon's installed in two weeks. If they work out and eliminate the tramlining I will be selling the Cup2's. I have 165 miles on them now, so probably around 250 total miles on them when I switch out to the Zeon's. I won't be tracking the Mach1, so I am hopeful that the Zeon's will work out year-round. Let me know if you are interested in the Cup2's and I'll contact you if I am happy with the new tires and want to sell the Cup2's.

Good things come to people who work the system correctly to get what they want. I did the same exact thing and pick mine up this SAT.
Congrats! Enjoy !
