Finally found my Mustang

I was able to pick up a 2021 California Special. Automatic with 6600 miles. While visiting my uncle who bought the car new and always told me he would never sell it. He’s 80 years old. He told me he was trading it for a 12 Shelby Cobra. After a week of bugging him he finally sold it to me. I couldn’t believe he was letting it go.

No mods for me. This is actually step 1 of retirement that is coming in a year. It came sooner than expected thanks to my uncle. Just going to drive it and enjoy!!!

Congrats OP and Adam. CS is a nice package as is, and for a grand tourer/cruiser I agree I wouldn't change a thing on it.

Well, maybe a few things:
1. paint protection film
2. ceramic coating
3. windshield tint (if not already done)

I don't own a CS, but I looked hard for one when I was buying. Great choice!

Congrats!!! The GT/CS was what got me looking at the generation of Mustangs! I ended up driving to ATL to buy a 2017, but when I got to the dealership it was already sold :-( . I ended up buying another Mercedes that I looked at the same day! My AMG I owned had 250K miles on it and I could hear a transmission front pump whine. I was 200+ miles from home and I was disappointed the GT/CS was sold, but needed a new daily and wasn't up for spending $4K for a used transmission if I could find one! I ended up with another AMG and drove it til I saw the MACh1's. Bought my 22 MACh1 new and made the mistake of letting my better 1/2 drive it. She came home and told me she now wanted one, BUT an automatic in either Purple or Yellow! I searched and searched but couldn't find one with an auto in those colors! I came across a 2017 GT/CS Convertible with 2800 miles in Triple Yellow on AutoTrader. I showed her the pics and was told.....I want that!! Go get it!! She LOVES it....I kinda dig it as well! It's a different beast than my MACh1, but topless on sunny days with her and our puppy is amazing!!! Again....congrats on your new car!!!

lower it , tint and wheels and tires will make it look so much more badass, but either way congrats on retirement .
