Whats the deal with all the junk holding up the back trunk (looks like 3 struts on each side)? ... Cant they do better then this and make it look nicer???
What is a more appealing trunk lid arrangement? Got another car in mind?

That trunk configuration actually costs usable space. My LS had this same setup and it costs a fair bit of trunk space to fold inside. The bmw in the pic has just hid it with liners.

Yeah I just wanted to post an example of something that does look better. I'm personally not sweating the trunk situation.

EXACTLY! The BMW is Using Archaic Goose Neck Hinges for the Trunk which Eat Up Very Valuable, Useable Space. Compared to Compact Multi Link Hinges like the 2015 Mustang employs. The Compact Multi Link Hinge sits Completely Outside of the Trunk in the Water Chanel and can be engineered to not only open the trunk up, but rotate it to a better angle out of the way when opened. Many Modern Cars have adopted this style hinge.

This example comes from the Volkswagen V-8 Phaeton. Very similar in design to those on the S-550. I will admit I wish the Mustangs Hinges were made from the Elegant Aluminum that these are. Maybe something for the Aftermarket to Address...

This is a very tough decision for me. Originally I really liked Guard and was set on it, now I'm pretty sure i'm not going with it. It just doesn't appeal to me anymore. At least in all the pictures, seeing it in person could change my mind but it doesn't look like I'll be able to before I order. Now Ruby Red I think looks fantastic on the Stang, especially in sunlight but there is just something about it that makes me say no.

From the beginning I really liked how Ingot silver looked and how well it shows the lines of the car. It also contrasts with the darker portions of the car really well. I will be getting the PP and the black wheels look really good with it. While I really like this color on the mustang, it's going to be hard deciding on such a normally bland color and one that is on so many other cars on the road. I also really like Magnetic, just need to see it on a GT Coupe with the PP. The only other color I'm considering is Race Red. I think it looks really good and makes equally good contrasts like the silver does. I only dislike a couple things about it. It doesn't show off the lines of the car very well in most pictures and sometimes it seems like it has a little bit of orange in it, which I don't like. Maybe if it were just a couple shades darker, then it would be perfect. DIB is a really good looking color but it's out of the question since my ranger is already a nice "pretty" blue lol and I can't have too many pretty colors in my driveway :)

So, for right now tied for first is Silver and Magnetic, with Race Red being third. Decisions, Decisions... If I go with silver, maybe they'll offer some nice blue racing stripes to break up the monotony.

Those are horrible pics of Race Red because of the lighting. IMO

I love this shot and a few others in CA.

Thank you very much! Looks really good in PP form in Magnetic. Definitely thinking it's going to edge Ingot Silver. And yea Race Red in that thread just looks really orange to me. Probably just the lighting in the video but still.

I can't wait to see more convertible's in different colors. Either way I'll want to see various colors in person first.
