Just read on svtp that a guy at the factory saw GR477 - so it sounds like there might have been some more. Maybe they built 16s and 17s at the same time for a bit?

Or Ford is accounting for the stolen and destroyed Rs? We know at least one R was destroyed. If two were they could have built 475 with chassis numbers up to 477.

The numbers on the sheet near the beginning of this thread are incomplete. There have been posts on this forum that have had chassis numbers well into the 5000s for non-Rs.

Based on that, I'm thinking more and more that they built 16s and 17s at the same time. I know there were 17s on the line at the same time as my 16 on 5/26. I think we need to go off the dates they were built and not the VIN numbers themselves, too.

Yeah just going off FMC I can only see Vin# and how many days since released from the factory.

I agree with you that there was possibly a week of where the 2016 and 2017 R's were rolling down the line together.

My 2017 R was built just the following week after your 2016 R so probably a week or so of cross over production.

From what i heard there is a 16R sitting in there as of today.

How many remember post saying they would not or could not produce that many. I remember seeing post for 2000 and 3000 max with R's 10% of run. In Jan I rember a post indicating that due to parts issues they would only get 3000 to 4000 total produced.
