As y'all know, I am about to install a Paxton kit on my car and I have been thinking. I have 1" wheel spacers on my car and just wanted y'alls opinion as to whether it would be advisable to keep them installed or remove them. I know it will be a lot more stress on the drivetrain.

just a thought.

I don't for see any issues if you are on a street tire, but I couldn't say for sure there would be issues with a sticky tire. I know just thinking about putting the wheel and tire further out is kind of acting like adding leverage on the stud but I have no comparisons or testing to supply showing anything negative. If it was my car, I don't think I've run a bolt on spacer that size with sticky tires because of my way of thinking.

thanks for the reply. i think i will probably remove them just for piece of mind. I think i may put some higher quality ones back on at a later date. I have gotten used to the look with the wheels sitting more flush.

with street tires and no wheel hop it will be fine...

I run some 3/8" wheel spacers with sticky tires, but 1" is pushing it IMO.
