I'm looking at:
2018 Mustang GT Coupe - Base
10 Speed Automatic Transmission
Equipment Group 300A
I'm okay with not having a Performance Pack or Premium GT. The only thing the GT must have is the A10.
I contacted an Internet Sales Representative at a local dealer in the Sacramento, California area for pricing. The total MSRP is $37,685. The dealer offered a dealer discount of $3,100. There is also a Ford Rebate of $3,000 as well. This brings the net cost to $31,585. Keep in mind that I have not yet went to the dealership to sit down and negotiate, and this pricing was only discussed through email since I only communicated with the Internet Sales Representative.
What is your opinion on the dealer discount of $3,100? What would be a fair discount for around this time of year now that the 2019 Mustangs are coming in? How much did the dealer go down for you from MSRP?
Thank you everyone in advance for your help!
