I was wondering if any of you chose to stick with the stock look of some of the lesser factory wheels like these 18 inch ones.

I have a spare set of factory 20s but these humble 18s are growing on me on my 23'.

What do you guys think?

When I first got mine I thought about upgrading the wheels, but these have grown on me. I do still wish they were a little wider.

I have the same factory wheels as you do OP (kept them from my 2016, ditched the new factory wheels from my 2022). I use them as my winter set, perfect width for winter tires. The factory wheel width (and the crappy all seasons) just aren’t wide enough to get good grip in the summer. Pretty easy to light up the tires when not even trying.

Thanks guys. Interestingly all 3 sets of wheels posted here appear to have small variations in design.

Also, is it just me or do these vaguely have a small resemblance to the old Mach1 wheels?

It's a good look, and I am sure that you know it'll handle better with the right set of wheels and tires. There are soo many options out there in the 18" and 19" range. I see a nice Gloss black set of wheels, something Gunmetal or maybe even Satin Graphite. You do not necessarily have to spend a lot of money outfitting your Mustang with something nice. Keep your options open and when you decide to pull the trigger on a set Please share and post some pics.

I have Black Accent Package wheels, but also picked up a set of PP1 wheel. I happen to love both sets. The Black Accent Package ones are my late fall to early spring wheels and tires.

I've gone back and forth several times on new wheels (Steeda Trident or GT350R replicas), but decided that I will be rocking the stock wheels for the foreseeable future.

I’ve considered changing my 21 GT/CS OEM wheels but haven’t found any I like enough yet. probably keep these until I find something similar to Cragar SS or torque thrust design in 19”.

Some of the options out there are very good looking but...I wonder how many of the larger diameter and broader width aftermarket wheels out there are truly lighter than the smaller sized factory wheels.

Strength and durability also probably vary a bit depending on price. Having to use spacers or hub rings is also a discouraging factor for me personally.

the main problem with the factory wheels is they're about 10lbs heavier per corner than they need to be and most of them aren't wide enough. i do like the ones on the op's post tho.
