Just curious if the center vacuum/boost gauge is on our cars. I have the premium pack with the digital center display.. All the new Mustangs may have this, I am not sure. What I am curious about is how accurate it reads. Has anyone ran a test to see?

THIS IS THE GAUGE I AM TALKING ABOUT

It does math to figure out boost - so not very accurate. If you want a good readout you need to install an actual boost gauge.

I have both the Eco-boost cluster and the Boost+ with the Ngauge. When I dyno'd, the boost+ was on the money with the dyno boost gauge. The eco-boost reads about 2psi higher. It's fun to watch though as you transition into boost.

Just got my gtpp premium and it has it.

Edit: Just realized you meant in the gauge cluster. My 17 does NOT have that. Wonder why.

Usually my center gauge right around 8.5 to 9 psi and my boost plus reads 10.5 to 11.5 at wot ngauge is closer to what I should be at with boost

Have a pic of one that says just vacuum! All I have seen is the combo

Ecoboost cars have vacuum/boost because they read the boost on the turbo. GTs just have vacuum. Forced induction guys here on Mustang6g and elsewhere started figuring out you could easily plug and play swap the gauge from the Ecoboost and have an OEM looking boost gage. Recently Ford Performance caught on and started marketing the Ecoboost gage as a GT boost gage upgrade for someone who added a supercharger.

I have a GT and mine says vacuum and Boost. The gauge is worthless but still says and shows both.

Apologize guys...despite many pics in your posts of the center gage and matching descriptions, I got it confused with the dash gage cluster on premiums. My bad. Please ignore.

Mine doesn't say either one at all. Must be different for the 2016's. Mine also doesn't show oil pressure like OP's. In place of that mine has oil temperature.

15 premium non pp and i have it. i use it mostly just to see when my car decides to go into boost so i can back out of it if its raining or when im trying to conserve fuel. and as a BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST!!! gauge. its fun, but not accurate.
